The Opportunity
eCore is on the hunt for a talented cloud architect to manage our company’s cloud architecture migration and position in cloud environments. You will play a strategic role in designing and implementing all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, backend platform, servers, databases, storage, and management networks.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. Should be well versed in microservice development, and databases both SQL and no SQL, you should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaptation process.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
- Design of eCore’s cloud structure.
- Develop and organize cloud systems.
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the company’s cloud privacy.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
- Oversight of the development of our cloud platform
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.
- 3-5+ years of experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
- Ability to change and adapt quickly to new technology and methodologies.
- This position is completely remote and the ideal candidate needs to have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability to manage their day-to-day work activities.

If you pass, an offer will be made. If you accept, you must present a valid government-issued ID and sign the contract. Once we receive it and verify, you’re now officially hired and start.
After this, you’ll enter the initial training phase and your probationary period of 3 months will start.
The probation period is paid.
