1. Comply with applicable regulations, trade agreements and policies while executing the certification process, by successfully determining the regional content value of the product under the correct criteria and subsequently issuing the correct documentation.
2. Certify products before MX Ministry of Economy, when applies based on regulation, securing to provide accurate & compliant information, and follow up requests from Ministry of Economy until the process is closed.
3. Provide to the customers with compliant and on time certificates of origin, through electronic channels and courier, depending on applicable regulation to be used at the import moment in the destination country. Secure that customer & internal stakeholders are well informed about certificates status.
4. Understand internal and external customers’ needs and act upon, connecting with internal local and regional stakeholders.
5. Maintain correctly updated working systems and tools, secure correct information transfer Mexican Authorities and stakeholders.
6. Maintain Processes and User guides in place and updated to trough continuous alignment, regulations update and digital platforms to secure long term compliance.
7. Manage daily effective collaboration with LATAM Customers, Ministry of Economy and LEGO Colleagues in US.
8. Responsible in daily basis to identify, inform and take action upon risks until are mitigated. Escalate when is needed to the Export Manger according to the situation at hand, and Import-Export Director if needed.
9. Improve proactively processes, through proposing improvement ideas, doing questions, testing assumptions, increasing use of software solutions and Mapping methodology with a mindset of simplification, to prevent errors and at the same time maintaining or even increasing quality on deliverables.
10. Maintain IMS compliance by securing consistency in processes and procedures, keeping a systematic way of working and embed in the daily operation the LCI way of working.
11. Be ready to act as back up in other positions in the department to ensure that operations continuity.
