The Responsible Sourcing Operation team (RSO), aims to ensure that the LEGO Group’s ethical, social and environmental requirements are met by suppliers, licensing partners and LEGO production sites
These requirements are set out in the LEGO Group Responsible Business Principles (RBP) that all suppliers and license partners must adhere to.
The RBP has a key focus ensuring that anyone involved in producing LEGO products have fair and decent working conditions, as well as safeguarding children and minimizing environmental impacts.
Core Responsibilities
Under the guidance of Senior Manager of RSO team, manage the implementation of RBP management in the Americas (Mexico, US, Brazil, known as AMER) supply chain, including both LEGO sites, suppliers and licensing partners of the LEGO Group
Ongoing compliance work includes scheduling and following up on audits in AMER Region. Reviewing and assessing audit reports, following up Corrective Action Plan. Engaging with LEGO owned sites, suppliers and licensing partners on RBP implementation, identifying root causes of non-compliances found at audit (or otherwise, such as through grievance mechanisms or data submitted to the LEGO Group) and encouraging continuous improvement
Implement the global RS pivotal initiatives in AMER region, e.g. capability building programming, including supporting the development and delivery of guidelines, training courses and tools with suppliers; grievance mechanisms; etc.
