Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role: PayPal is recruiting for a dynamic Product Manager to help build our web experience for customers globally. You will be focused on driving growth and engagement by building high-quality customer experiences on mobile and web. We need someone with strong accountability and cross functional leadership, highly developed business and analytical skills, and experience both building products and developing content to drive content marketing, SEO and online acquisition and activation activities. Our team is focused on the Small-to-Medium business segment, with the objective of providing the information and experiences they need to make a fully informed decision when considering PayPal as their payment provider of choice. There is also a requirement to support existing customers to help them make the most out of their relationship with PayPal as they continue to run and scale their business.

You will define and explore the problem space and define the customer facing strategy. You will also lead execution of customer facing web and mobile solutions, working with stakeholders across the enterprise to capture customer problems and develop tools and content to help solve them. Your main interfaces will be with our sales and marketing, go-to-market and product and engineering teams, and you need to be comfortable working with our compliance and legal colleagues to ensure we remain compliant globally. You will need the flexibility to be effective driving strong business outcomes in open-ended processes, as you are when operating in the structure of a sprint team. Regular activities include tracking and reporting against business KPIs, setting targets and building plans to accomplish them, and project managing execution to successful outcomes. A typical day might include commissioning content, critiquing designs, synthesizing the results of multi-variate testing to identify insights, and collating requirements for tools and systems development.
Customer empathy, the ability to scale and think globally, and stakeholder management are keys to succeeding in this role.
Your day to day
In your day-to-day, you will:
Define KPIs and meeting business targets for customer prospect conversion globally
Define and oversee development of customer facing web and mobile experiences targeting prospects and existing customers
Work with stakeholders across the company to ensure the web experience fits the end-to-end customer experience and supports cross-enterprise goals and outcomes
Work with our analytics and research partners to grow our analytical capabilities and establish best practices, define research goals and run multi-variant tests to improve growth KPIs
Work with our platform team to identify platform requirements and required technologies to meet our customer and business goals
Collaborate with other segment Product Managers to ensure the paypal.com customer experience works holistically
What do you need to bring:
3+ years of Product Management experience in a technology company, preferred
Strong execution skills and can successfully drive cross functional teams in a highly matrixed organization
Demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly consumer or business products
Passion to seek deep understanding of customer needs and turn the insights into a compelling vision to solve important jobs for customers
Excellent verbal and written communications, as well as strong organizational skills
