Job Summary:
To ensure that assigned project is fully executed within the specific time and requirement by the clients.
Qualification:
- Degree in the Civil/Structural Engineering and have about 2 to 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas design engineering.
- Registered to Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
- Computer software knowledge in Structural simulation and calculation is essensial.
Responsibilities:
- To perform all activities, including detailed design calculations associated with the assigned project. Undertake the work in an efficient manner and be accountable to the Project Lead Engineer/Manager.
- To coordinate with the project designers for all the drafting activities associated with the project.
- To keep abreast with the client requirements/practices and ensure that all work performed conform to these requirements.
- To interact with other disciplines to ensure a smooth and successful functioning of the project.
- To keep up to date and ensure adherence with the company’s quality procedures and practices.
- To generate complete project design documentation covering all aspects of the structural/civil design.
- To be accountable to and assist the Senior Structural Engineers and Manager, Structural Engineer.
- To interact with equipment and material vendors to stay informed on the most recent trends and technology in the supply industry.
- To maintain a detailed knowledge of all applicable codes and standards including client’s requirements in relation to the field of expertise.
- To provide input to feasibility and conceptual studies in the area of expertise.
