Job Summary
We are seeking a Base Materials Coordinator to be the responsible for quality assurance of raw material at the factory. In this position you will be responsible of solving with the supplier any material issue.
The position is based in Queretaro, Mexico.
You will be travelling 10% of your time to Denton, Texas Factory.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Base Materials Coordinator you will:
Lead raw material issues at the factory. Main contact between suppliers and the factory.
Follow up root cause analysis with the supplier.
Responsible of monitoring supplier performance, actions accomplishment and any other topic related to base materials.
Local and/or new suppliers’ assessment.
We believe you have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent concluded as an Engineer. It could be a Chemical, Industrial, Materials Engineer with experience in polymers and paper.
3 to 5 years SQA or SQE related working experience, WCM skills and knowledge.
Nice to have knowledge about ISO9001, system SPC, TQM, experience would be a plus. Experience of Production process is preferred.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Nice to have a Green Belt certification or as an Internal Auditor.
