Join our team to support customer vetting and entitlement activities to ensure compliance with Thomson Reuters policy, third-party requirements, and regulatory obligations. The Onboarding Specialist is a key member of the team supporting senior team members with customer vetting and onboarding activities and is part of the Enterprise Risk & Compliance (R&C) program within the Thomson Reuters Operations & Technology organization.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as an Onboarding (KYC) Specialist, you will:
Support customer due diligence reviews to ensure customer documentation and information is received in a timely manner by working with internal partners and directly with customers
Manage the customer re-validating process
Handle general account maintenance
Support team leaders in relation to monthly reporting and QA reviews
Act as a business resource to internal business partners to address routine and non-standard issues ensuring onboarding protocols are followed and business needs are met
Support the ongoing evolution and execution of the overall customer onboarding program
Attend and apply ongoing training to further develop knowledge, skills and abilities
Generate and retrieve data for reporting purposes as requested
Assist with projects as needed and other duties as assigned
About You
You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:
Bachelor’s Degree
Prior experience in a customer service or order management role
Project management skills
1-2 years of general business experience
Advanced English level is a must.
Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal) focused on excellent customer service
Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Excellent PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and secure cloud services (including SharePoint and Teams), SAP, and Salesforce required; familiarity or experience with data visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableaux), data analytics (e.g., Alteryx), and risk & compliance solutions (e.g., MetricStream) a plus.
Ability to establish and maintain productive internal business relationships
High level of initiative and ability to perform in a fast-paced, matrix environment
