We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to define, scope and manage one or more projects of medium size/complexity and work with senior project and other management to accelerate the maturity across several functional areas of information security. This role will work closely with the ISRM leadership team to enable delivery across the organization and ensure ISRM achieve its committed technical and/or business objectives.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will:
Partner with subject matter experts across ISRM, technology & engineering teams, and the business units to ensure alignment of project and program strategy and execution on vision and committed objectives
Delivers projects within the constraints of scope, time, and cost to agreed levels of quality
Defines, documents, and manages smaller-scale projects with minimal supervision, working with multiple teams that may have differing priorities and working/cultural practices.
Actively participates throughout project lifecycle, including proactive problem solving and establishing a governance structure where decision-making is weighted toward empowered teams.
Effectively manages project team conflicts, build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and commitment to make decisions
Prepares and maintains roadmaps and project plans by seeking team input and feedback, as well as actively tracking status, actions, and other activities against the plan
Implements effective communication plan and operating rhythm, including provision of regular and accurate status/risk reports.
Works with project team to identify and communicate risks and impediments to the success of the project, demonstrating sound judgment when escalation is required.
Provides effective leadership to the project team ensuring members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.
Effectively manage project-specific budget to ensure visibility, accuracy, and fidelity of the plan and forecast. Includes partnering with business operations to reconcile financials.
Balance demands and maximize utilization stemming from multiple projects
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all internal project management reports, including milestone, backlog forecast, resource forecast, status, and other reports, as requested.
Provide input on executive level summaries, as projects require.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Project Manager if you have:
Basic qualifications:
Bachelors or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Certificates required.
From 2+ years of work experience as Project Manager in Software Implementation Projects.
Working knowledge of Information Security, Engineering Best Practices and NIST Framework.
Working experience setting up and maintaining Agile implementation software.
Preferred qualifications:
Project Management skills (milestone, forecast, financial forecast, reporting)
Working experience managing all phases of software implementation cycles.
Working experience in Security or Risks.
Familiarity with Agile Methodology
SCRUM Master or SCRUM Product owner preparation
Familiarity with Azure DevOps
