Purpose of Post:
Responsible for spray painting buses, to a high-quality finish, in line with customer specifications.
Key Tasks:
- Responsible for the marking out and spraying of Basecoat and Direct gloss colours.
- Responsible for any touch up repairs and small paint repairs, prior to sign-off and vehicle delivery.
- Responsible for assisting paint preparation i.e., marking up vehicles prior to paint.
- Responsible for the safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the paint-preparation & paint processes.
- Responsible for compliance with the company’s Health and Safety policy procedures.
- Responsible for undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or the introduction of new working practices.
- Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post.
General:

Week 1: Monday – Wednesday 6.00am – 6.00pm and Thursday 6.00am – 1.00pm
Week 2: Monday – Wednesday 6.00pm – 6.00am. (includes a shift allowance)
